✔️ Administration Instructions for Breon 25/200mcg Accucap

• This medication is strictly for inhalation use.
• Use Breon 25/200mcg Accucap only as prescribed by your doctor.
• Place the capsule at the base of the device (rotahaler, transhaler, instahaler, or redihaler). Twist the mouthpiece completely until you hear a clicking sound, indicating it's ready for use.
• Inhale the powder deeply through the mouthpiece, then hold your breath for 10 seconds.
• Ensure that you do not swallow the capsule, as it is not meant for oral ingestion.

✔️ Dosage of Breon 25/200mcg Accucap

For inhalation use only; do not swallow the capsule. Remove from blister only before use, place in the inhalation device, inhale deeply, and rinse mouth afterward.

• COPD: 1 inhalation of 25/100 mcg once daily.
• Asthma: 1 inhalation of either 25/100 mcg or 25/200 mcg once daily.

✔️ Breon 25/200mcg Accucap Interactions

This combination therapy may interact with the following drugs:

• Bronchodilators: Salbutamol, aminophylline, and theophylline can interact and potentially increase side effects.
• Steroids: Budesonide, prednisone, mometasone, and beclomethasone may enhance corticosteroid effects, increasing the risk of systemic side effects.
• Heart-related Medications: Sotalol, digoxin, disopyramide, procainamide, and quinidine may pose cardiovascular risks when used concurrently.
• Blood Pressure Medications: Atenolol, metoprolol, and propranolol can block beta-agonist effects, potentially causing severe bronchospasm.
• Labor-inducing Medicines: Oxytocin may increase the risk of cardiovascular side effects.
• Antithyroid Agent: Levothyroxine can interact and may alter therapeutic effects.
• Antidepressants: Imipramine, amitriptyline, isocarboxazid, and phenelzine may increase the vascular effects of vilanterol.
• Antifungals: Itraconazole and ketoconazole may raise corticosteroid levels, increasing potential side effects.
• HIV Medications: Atazanavir, ritonavir, nelfinavir, indinavir, cobicistat, and saquinavir can increase systemic corticosteroid levels, raising the risk of adverse effects.
• Antiparkinson Drug: Levodopa can have heightened effects on the nervous system and vascular health when taken with this inhalation therapy.

• Not for primary treatment of status asthmaticus or acute COPD/asthma episodes.
• Severe milk protein allergy or allergy to ingredients.
